1 race down

My first race was on Saturday in Granite Bay!  Bryan, Alle and I headed up there a little after 5:30, so that we could prepare ourselves for race time.

Here we are getting ready for race time!!!  It was very cold!!!!

I am proud to say that I reached my goal time of 1 hour 30 minutes on the dot!!!  I was very proud, as I sprinted across the finish line!

We checked the weather after the race....it was a cool 37 outside.....GEEZ!!!

Well first race down, I feel accomplished.  A rematch between this duathalon and I will take place on the 22nd...sorry Granite Bay you are going down again!!! :)
